H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, today praised the UAE leaders, namely President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, for supporting the youth, innovation and creativity to promote education and boost development.

He was speaking during a meeting with Abdul Rehman Hamdan, founder and chair of the Emirates Award for Innovation and Creativity, and members of the award's board.

The delegation briefed the ruler about the vision, plans and goals of the award.

He said the UAE has one of the most innovative governments in the world, thanks to the wide culture of innovation at its departments.

Sheikh Hamad underlined the need for cooperation among all departments, promotion of innovation and creativity among the youth.
