Egyptian Cultural Development Fund (CDF) is set to organise a seminar on Sunday for blind people entitled “Rights in Society for the Blind”. The seminar will also feature various cultural and artistic activities for the blind. The following are reported to attend: Sayed Gomaa, Chairman of the Federation for the Disabled, Mr. Alaa Eldeen Abdel Halim, Chairman of the Association for the Blind and Dr. Hoda Al Anshasi, a member of the Blind Association Board. After the seminar, attendees will be offered a sculpting workshop led by a group of established artists in the region. The centre provides services for the visually impaired, such as computers equipped with “Alabsar” (Vision), a program which assists the visually impaired in reading printed materials and browsing the internet.
