The Beijing opera house hosted a news conference on the Egypt-China Culture Year 2016 in the presence of Egyptian Ambassador here Magdi Amer.

Addressing the conference, Amer said Egypt was the first Arab and African country to recognize new China and establish full diplomatic ties with it 60 years ago.

With the launch of the Egyptian-Chinese cultural year, Egypt will hold artistic and musical shows to boost cultural exchange, he said.
