When he was just 16 years old, author Bruce K. Avenell had an out-of-body experience where he was given his life’s work. In his new book of poetry “Poems to Ponder on The Road To Life” (published by iUniverse), Avenell renders the significant impact this profound moment had on his life and reveals the other messages he has received through meditation in over 70 years. “The book is thinly disguised instructions on how to find and travel on your own personal road to life,” says Avenell. “Poems to Ponder on The Road to Life” captures Avenell’s personal experiences as he learns to expand his horizons and journey through life. His poems are both original works and works dictated to him by beings he has met while traveling on the road to life. Through his allusions and technique, Avenell hopes readers will have a better sense of who they really are and take time for self-reflection. Avenell created and directs The Eureka Society, a school of instruction that teaches one how to find and travel on the road to life. An excerpt from “The Vital Essence” featured in “Poems to Ponder on The Road to Life”: “I asked my Lord for eagles’ wings To ply the burning blue. ‘You are a bird,’ The Great Light said, ‘Fly home my love, please do.’” Source: PRWEB
