A French movie won the best film award at the closing ceremony of the 29th Alexandria International Film Festival for Mediterranean Countries. Alexandria Governor Tarek al-Mahdy and the festival’s chairman Al-Amir Abaza handed the awards while several artists, media and public figures as well as ambassadors attending. As many as 140 film from 27 countries participated in the annual event, Abaza said, adding that the films include four Egyptian films. The Italian Cinema was honored during the ceremony. Italian movie \"Ali Blue eyes” won the Special Jury Award.
