At least 290 exhibitors representing 13 countries, including Tunisia, the guest of honor, are taking part in the Building, Construction & Public Works International Exhibition “Batiwest 2014,” which opened, Monday afternoon, at the Exhibition Center of M’dina Jdida, in Oran (432-km west of Algiers).
This professional event is marked by the presence of various property developers as well as insurance and leasing companies, said the CEO of the group International Exhibition Company Sogex, this event’s organizer Zoubir Ouali, who explained that 60% of the exhibitors are new companies specialized in construction materials.
He also noted the first participation of Serbia and Oman.
Organized under the slogan “When the Building of Tomorrow Becomes a Reality,” the show anticipates, for Tuesday, the visit of 30 Tunisian operators specialized in the sectors of building, public works and hydraulics, construction materials, engineering, architecture, urbanism, as well as related products and services, said the same official.
In this regard, “B to B” meetings will be organized, Wednesday, between national operators and members of the Tunisian delegation, said the Tunisian embassy’s commercial representation director, Riad Bezzerga.
Batiwest 2014, which represents an important contribution to development, will run until the 25th of this month.
