An earthquake with magnitude of 5. 7 struck off Sumatra island of Indonesia on Sunday, the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency reported here. The quake jolted Jakarta at 0415 GMT with epicenter at 84 km southeast Mukomuko of Bengkulu province and with the depth at 26 km, the agency said. Indonesia sits on a vulnerable quake-hit zone so called the \" Pacific Ring of Fire\", where two continental plates meet that frequently caused seismic and volcanic movements.
