A military aircraft belonging to the Algerian Air Force crashed Tuesday in the country's eastern Oum El Bouaghi province, leaving 103 people dead, local media said. Citing local sources, Ennahar newspaper said the air traffic control of Algeria's Constantine Airport lost contact with the C- 130 Hercules aircraft, adding that 103 passengers on board were killed in the crash. Ambulances rushed to the scene to provide first aids to any survivors, according to the report.
