A Mi-24 helicopter of the Algerian Air Force crashed near an airfield in the Southeast of the country, injuring four servicemen. The incident occurred soon after a takeoff. A fire began aboard, after which the pilot tried to carry out emergency landing. The reason for the fire, according to a source, was technical failure. Local authorities deny the presumption that the helicopter was attacked, Voice of Russia reported. According to the agency, two out of the four victims were seriously hurt as a result of the crash. They were delivered to the nearest hospital.
