Law enforcement forces of the Third Field Army have arrested three Takfiri elements and seized a four-wheel-drive vehicle hidden inside a cave in central Sinai, military spokesman Colonel Tamer el Refaei said in a Saturday statement.

The forces have also seized a large amount of materials used to manufacture bombs, four motorcycles belonging to the Takfiri elements as well as a pickup truck laden with a large amount of motorcycle spare parts, he added.

The move comes as part of efforts exerted by the Armed Forces to confront terrorist and criminal elements, he noted.
