Law enforcement forces discovered and destroyed a main tunnel on the borderline in North Sinai, the Armed Forces said in a statement on Thursday.

Also, 11 people suspected of carrying out terrorist attacks were arrested as part of the security campaign launched to eliminate terrorist hotbeds in Sinai.

The troops dismantled a booby-trapped vehicle and two bombs as well, the statement read.
