Prime Minister Participates in Lekhwiya's Sports Day Activities

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani took part Tuesday in the Sports Day celebrations organized by the Ministry of Interior's (MOI) Qatar Police Sports Federation. 
The event, which is annually held at Suheim Bin Hamad Stadium, was attended by department managers, and more than 2000 employees from the ministry. The event was also attended by a big number of persons with special needs from the Gulf Disability Society, Aamal Center for Special Needs, Al Tamakon School, Rumailah Hospital, and Doha International Center for Special Needs. 
The program included a football game played by HE the Prime Minister, the director general of public security and a number of department managers. In addition the employees of the ministry participated in different sports such as track and field, tug of war, basketball, tennis and other sports. 
HE the Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and commander for the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) also attended celebrations organized by Lekhwiya where its headquarters held a number of sports competitions. 
On the sidelines of the celebrations, Lekhwiya inaugurated a 2500 square meter multipurpose sports hall as an addition to qualify Lekhwiya's employees. 
In the first Sports Day edition in 2012, Lekhwiya inaugurated the biggest sports hall, a sports arena in the 2013 celebrations and a fitness hall in the 2014 celebrations.
