As tourists from around the world are set to descend on London for the 2012 Olympics, authorities and residents alike are tense yet expectant of the unprecedented challenge to the UK\'s resilience and management capabilities. Organised in partnership with the Home Office\'s Olympic Security Directorate and taking place on the January 25, RUSI\'s Olympic and Paralympic Security Conference will offer a unique opportunity to engage with key decision-makers and stakeholders from the UK\'s security community.   UK Home Secretary, the Rt Hon Theresa May MP has also been confirmed as keynote speaker. Other participants include Charles Farr, Director General, Office for Security and Counter-Terrorism; Robert Raine, Director of Olympic Safety and Security; Sir Ian Johnston, Director of Security and Resilience, LOCOG and Commander Bob Broadhurst, head of Operational Planning for London 2012. With an international audience of 200 senior experts, the conference aims to provide strategic and operational insight into all aspects of Olympic security policy and planning, revealing how the country is preparing itself to deliver the best \'Olympic Games experience\' ever.
