But the outfit have struggled to keep up with Red Bull and McLaren while team-mate Nico Rosberg, 26, has overshadowed the veteran. Schumacher is in the final year of his contract. And former rival Gerhard Berger said: "I do not think he will extend it. He has no chance against Rosberg. He will have to admit he cannot beat a young driver at his level."
