Zaf is one of five nominees in the medical category alongside counterparts from QPR, Wolves, Wigan and Birmingham. The ceremony will take place at Wembley on January 24  to celebrate the contribution to professional and grass-roots football by people with South Asian heritage. Zaf, who joined Liverpool from Tottenham two years ago, said: \"To be nominated for any award in relation to your job is a real honour and achievement - especially when it\'s for doing a job that you love. \"Working at such a massive club like Liverpool with a worldwide fanbase has enabled me to further my other voluntary health projects and community work with groups such as Sporting Equals and the Zesh Rehman Foundation.\" Other familiar names up for an award are QPR co-owner Lakshmi Mittal and Ipswich Town striker Michael Chopra. FA chairman David Bernstein said: \"The FA is committed to diversity and inclusion across all areas of the game and I\'m delighted that the Asian football community are celebrating their achievements at Wembley Stadium.\"
