The Ghana international is entertaining the idea of playing outside Serie A but could be convinced to remain in Italian football, explains his representative.Sulley Muntari’s agent has revealed that the Inter midfielder would be interested to join Napoli but has stated that no “official” approach has yet been made by the Naples outfit.Muntari’s current contract with the Milan giants expires at the end of this season and the 27-year-old has been heavily tipped to leave San Siro during the January transfer window.Napoli are one of the clubs reportedly eyeing the Ghana international, and the representative revealed that the former Udinese midfielder would be open to playing for Walter Mazzarri’s Serie A title contenders.“I’ve received nothing official up until now,” the agent, Marco Odisio told Radio CRC. “However, it’s certainly nice to hear that a club like Napoli are interested in Muntari. He would certainly positively evaluate such a possibility.“At the moment the player is considering some foreign offers, where he wants to go and play, but Napoli would really be an important alternative.“Muntari’s contract is running out at Inter and it would certainly suit Napoli to sign him on a permanent basis.”Muntari joined Inter from Portsmouth in 2008 and played on loan for Sunderland during the second half of the 2010-11 campaign.
