Former Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia has been placed in temporary charge of Bayer Leverkusen. Hyypia will work alongside U19 coach Sascha Lewandowski until the end of the season following the dismissal of Robin Dutt after a fifth straight defeat. Leverkusen currently lie sixth in the Bundesliga table and are fighting to secure a Europa League place for next season.
