Zamalek former coach Hossam Hassan has refused to comment on his surprising sacking as the board confirmed earlier that they will extend his stay. “I wish good luck to Captain Hassan Shehata in managing Zamalek,” the 44-year-old tactician said. Hassan Shehata is the most successful Egyptian manager, a champion of African Cup of Nations three successive times before leaving the Pharaohs after a shameful disqualifying for the 2012 edition. The former Ahly and Zamalek striker, Hassan, revealed that he is receiving many offers but preferrs for the time to postpone any annoucements about his future. “I have received many offers including Ismaily but I want to take a short break before I take my decision,” the former world\'s most-capped player confirmed. Hassan’s technical staff, with assistance of his twin, football director, Ibrahim made outstanding improvements to the White Castle when they were hired last season with  Zamalek 14th in the league table, threatened by relegation. “We worked under hard circumstances with a lack of funding but we were able to compete for the title,” he added Although they finished second in the first post-revolution Egyptian Premier League, Zamalek led the table for weeks with six points before Ahly who were eventually able to clinch their seventh-successive title with seven points ahead.ahramonline ,
