HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani participated along with citizens and residents in the activities of Qatar National Sports Day.
HH the Emir visited the Nomas Center to meet with autism children participating in the horse-riding event. the events goal is to create a bond between the children of autism and horses, it is the first experiment of its kind in the Middle-East.
HH the Emir then joined the children in the indoor facility to take part in the different sports such as running, archery and football. The children expressed their delight at the attendance and participation of HH the Emir in some of the sporting activities with them.
The attendance of HH the Emir reflected the personal commitment of His Highness to the annual event and the role it plays in raising awareness on leading a healthy lifestyle.
