Everton attacker Tim Cahill has declared that his team needs to stand up and keep claiming points following their unconvincing 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton on Saturday. The Toffees currently sit in 12th place on the Premier League table after losing a total of five games in six and Cahill believes that the club now needs to build on this performance, while remembering to focus on each game individually.\"We have to stand up and be counted, and make sure that you always face up to adversity, whatever it may be,” the Australian told the club’s official website. \"We have a small squad and we have got no choice. These players are going to play in week in, week out. And nothing is going to change. We keep fighting away until the end.\" He added: \"But we need to do that individually. I don\'t think we can be looking over three or four games.” The Socceroo also admitted that although the team isn’t playing the attractive football that the fans desire, the players are doing everything they can to secure points – which, he said, is more important. \"I know it is frustrating for the fans, but for the players all we want to do is win games,” Cahill said. \"If we play ugly and get results, then so be it.\"
