With no further games this season at the Camp Nou, Barça can boast the best home record in the league following 17 wins, one draw and one defeat The 4-0 win over Espanyol was the last of a wonderful season for Barça at the Camp Nou. They had the best record of the tournament, with 17 wins, one draw and one defeat, scoring a massive 73 goals and conceding just 11. The second best home record corresponded to Real Madrid, who have one game to go at the Bernabéu, but following two draws and one home defeat cannot catch Barça whatever happens this weekend. They have 66 goals at home and 18 against. Almost the best of the Guardiola era Barça’s 2011/12 league record at the Camp Nou is the second best of the last four years. Only in 2009/10 did they do better, with 18 wins and just one draw. But that year they ‘only’ scored 57 goals (16 less than this season). It was also the club’s second best home record in defence, only bettered by the mere ten goals conceded last term. Third in main European leagues A look around Europe shows that only Manchester City and Porto had better records than Barça at home this season. The Premiership leaders have 17 wins and just one draw, while the Portuguese side has 13 wins and 2 draws at home. But neither of those two come anywhere close to the Catalans’ 73 goals in games played at their own ground.
