Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu said the military operations in Syria have shown the Russian air force military edge, according to Russia Today.

During a meeting Tuesday at the ministry, he said Russian aircraft shell certain targets of terrorist bases and facilities in Syria daily.

On September 30, Russia launched an aerial military campaign against Daesh at a request from Syrian President Bashar al Assad.
