Montpellier\'s hopes of returning to the Ligue 1 summit have been dealt a blow with the news that Geoffrey Dernis will miss the next month through injury. The 30-year-old midfielder has been a key figure for Rene Girard\'s team this season, scoring two goals from eight appearances and helping La Paillade into second place, three points behind Paris St Germain. Dernis has suffered a calf tear in training, though, and will now be out of action until November.
