Hannover have re-signed midfielder Szabolcs Huszti from Zenit St. Petersburg on a three-year contract, three years after the Hungary international left the club for Russia. Huszti passed a medical at the weekend and the final formalities over a transfer for an undisclosed fee were completed last night. "It is great to be back," said the 29-year-old, who played for Hannover between 2006 and 2009. "I had a great time in Hannover and that is why I really wanted to come back here. The coach really wanted me to come back and that was obviously an important reason why I agreed. "Since I left, the club has developed excellently and I would now like to join them in going further." Huszti played 81 times and scored 17 goals in his first spell for the Reds and now joins a club who are preparing for a second straight season in the UEFA Europa League. FIFA .
