Akos Marschalek, vice chairman of Hungarian Table Tennis Association, was killed on Monday in Budaors, a small town near Budapest. Hungarian News Agency MTI reported that the acting secretary of Hungarian Table Tennis Association Kristof Lajtai had confirmed the news. Marschalek is 42 years old. According to the report, a 43-year-old man named Jozsef M. stabbed Marschalek with a knife in his chest after a quarrel in a courtyard, causing the victim to die on the spot. After committing the crime, Jozsef M. voluntarily surrendered himself to police station in Budaors.
