The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's national soccer team has clinched a spot at the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia next year.

The Saudi team's qualification is the fifth in its history. The qualification came after the team won its match against their Japanese counterparts 1-0, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
