AS Roma on Monday were awarded a 3-0 win over Cagliari after Serie A\'s sporting judge ruled the Sardinian side were responsible for Sunday\'s Serie A match between the teams not taking place. Cagliari\'s prefect ordered the match not to be played at the weekend after Chairman Massimo Cellino defied localauthorities by telling home fans to turn up to a match that was meant to be played behind closed doors. This was because Cagliari\'s ground was considered unfit for use by the public. Cellino has been in a long dispute with the local authorities over his team\'s home ground. Cagliari played a number of games in Trieste at the end of last season because of problems with its long-standing home, the Stadio Sant\'Elia. The team moved to the Is Arenas Stadium in the outskirts of the Sardinian city this term but the ground is not ready to host fans despite recent renovation work. Italian Soccer Federation prosecutors are set to investigate the scrapping of Sunday\'s match and Cagliari could face further punishment.
