Germany's Viktoria Rebensburg won the Cortina d'Ampezzo women's World Cup super-G, held in difficult conditions on Sunday. Rebensburg completed the shortened course in 1min 16.45sec, with Nicole Schmidhofer of Austria second at 0.33 and overall World Cup leader Tina Maze of Slovenia third at 0.34. Maze, who finished second in the downhill Saturday behind American Lindsey Vonn, extended her overall lead over German rival Maria Hoefl-Riesch, who was way off the pace. Julia Mancuso was the best-placed American in fifth place.
