An Orlando Magic stunt team performer escaped permanent damage after falling onto the court during a halftime show, the team said Wednesday. Jamie Woode, 31, suffered fractures but no neurological damage at Tuesday\'s Magic-New York Knicks game when she fell from the shoulders of a teammate during a routine, Magic spokesman Joel Glass said in a statement. \"She is in stable condition after suffering three vertebrae fractures and a broken rib,\" Glass said. \"She suffered no neurological damage and is expected to make a full recovery. She and her family respectfully asks for privacy at this time.\" Woode, a former University of Central Florida cheerleader, remained hospitalized at Orlando Regional Medical Center after the incident, which was witnessed by a crowd of more than 18,000, the Orlando Sentinel reported. Paramedics rushed onto the court after Woode landed on her head, removing her on a stretcher after several minutes as the two teams waited at their benches to take the court for the second half.
