Michael Young\'s three-run homer highlighted a big fifth inning that broke the game open and carried the Texas Rangers to an 11-2 win over Toronto Sunday. Leading 3-1 in the fifth, Texas got RBI from Josh Hamilton and Nelson Cruz before Young connected for his fourth homer of the year. Young later added a two-run double to finish 3-for-5 with five RBI and David Murphy went 3-for-4 with a solo shot with two runs knocked in for the American League West-leading Rangers, who took the rubber match a three-game set. Andrus added four hits and Geovany Soto went 3-for-5 with an RBI as Texas banged out 19 hits. Matt Harrison (14-7) earned the victory, yielding just two hits over eight innings. The left-hander surrendered a pair of runs while striking out seven. Toronto starter Henderson Alvarez (7-11) was pounded for 12 hits over 4 1/3 frames, coughing up eight runs. Mike McCoy socked a two-run homer for Toronto.
