Dallas Mavericks announced the decision to sign free agent shooting guard Monta Ellis with a three-year contract on Sunday. Ellis played for Milwaukee Bucks last season. He averaged 19.2 points to lead the Bucks to the playoffs as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference, only to be swept 4-0 by the final champion Miami Heat.
