Czech rider Roman Kreuziger said Thursday he was pulling out of Sunday's road race at the world championships in Denmark because of a hand injury he had suffered during the Tour de France. "The circuit is quite technical and therefore dangerous... it would be very risky to come back after the injury in a race like this," the Astana rider, who finished sixth in this year's Giro d'Italia, said on his website. The 25-year-old Kreuziger finished the Tour de France but has been unable to race since then as a check-up after the race revealed a wrist bone fracture, the result of a fall in an early stage.
