The signal-caller became the first freshman in college football history to throw for 3,000 yards and rush for 1,000 yards in a single season as Texas A&M won its fourth straight. Mike Evans hauled down six passes for 80 yards and two touchdowns for the Aggies. The Bearkats (8-3) were led by Brian Bell, who compiled 151 yards, one touchdown and one interception on 14-of-30 passing.
