Bo Blankenship set an Independence Bowl record with four short rushing touchdowns Friday in helping the Ohio Bobcats to a 45-14 win over Louisiana-Monroe. Blankenship had a scoring run of 2 yards in the second quarter and added 2- and 1-yard rushes for scores in the third period. His fourth touchdown -- another 2-yard run -- gave the Bobcats (9-4) a 45-14 lead 8 seconds into the final period. Louisiana-Monroe (8-5), playing in its first bowl game, pulled within 14-7 with a 14-yard pass from Kolton Browning to Tavarese Maye, but the first three Blankenship touchdowns and a 38-yard Matt Weller field goal pushed Ohio\'s lead to 38-7. Browning had a 1-yard touchdown pass to Kevin Steed for the Warhawks\' other touchdown. The full name of the game is the AdvoCare 100 Independence Bowl.
