Dominika Cibulkova picked up the first WTA title of her career in a three-set victory Sunday over Kaia Kanepi at the Kremlin Cup tennis tournament in Moscow. Cibulkova, seeded No. 8, defeated Kanepi 3-6, 7-6 (7-1), 7-5 in a match that took more than 2 1/2 hours. It was her second her second tournament title match in as many weeks. She lost the final in Austria a week ago but took the Kremlin Cup in a tight match that was decided when she won more than half of the points off Kanepi\'s serve in the third set. That resulted in three breaks in the set. Kanepi, who had a tough 2 1/2-hour semifinal, fired 10 aces Sunday but Cibulkova was able to grab an edge on Kanepi\'s second serve. Cibulkova won 56 percent of the points -- 80 percent in the third set -- in those situations. It was Cibulkova\'s first championship after losing her fist three WTA finals. Cibulkova won $118,500 along with the Kremlin Cup title. Kanepi, who fell to 1-3 in title matches, collected $64,300 as the runner-up.
