China\'s star hurdler Liu Xiang is still struggling with an injury that ended his quest to win a gold at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, state media reported, quoting his coach. The 28-year-old Chinese athletics star was a shock Olympic champion in the high hurdles at the 2004 Athens Games and remains history\'s second fastest man in the event. \"Liu\'s physical condition is good and stable right now, although the Achilles\' (tendon) injury still poses a problem and plays up when the training is very intense,\" coach Sun Haiping was quoted as saying by the China Daily, on Wednesday. \"But the whole team has done an excellent job of controlling his old injury and avoiding new wounds,\" he said. Sun added Liu was focusing on outdoor training ahead of the Olympics in London, which starts in four months. During the 2008 Games in Beijing, he pulled up injured in the 110m hurdles in front of an expectant home crowd.
