Kobe Bryant poured in 40 points Sunday, going 16-of-28 from the field for Los Angeles in the Lakers\' 120-112 win over Golden State. After turning in one of his worst career performances Saturday when he hit only three of his 21 shots against New Orleans, Bryant returned to all-star form as the Lakers bested the Warriors for the 15th time in 16 meetings. Pau Gasol made up for the absence of center Andrew Bynum with 26 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and three blocks. Bynum exited the game in the first quarter after sustaining a sprained left ankle. The team said X-rays were negative and indicated the pivotman would be re-evaluated Monday. Ramon Sessions supplied 23 points and nine assists in the victory. David Lee led Golden State with 27 points as the Warriors dropped their fifth straight.
