Logan Forsythe led off the bottom of the ninth with a home run Tuesday to hand the San Diego Padres a 6-5 win over San Francisco. Forsythe, playing in his second game of the season after coming off the 60-day disabled list, jumped on a 1-0 sinker from Steve Edlefsen (0-1) for the walkoff victory -- the third win in 14 games for the Padres. The homer came an inning after Carlos Quentin, who also had spent the majority of the season on the injured list, tied the game with the second of his two solo home runs. Houston Street (1-0), who was activated Tuesday after a month on the injured list, pitched the top of the ninth and picked up the win despite allowing two hits. Ryan Theriot had three hits and three RBI for the Giants, who had won four in a row. Tim Lincecum went six innings, giving up four runs -- all in the second inning -- on five hits, with one walk and eight strikeouts.
