Luis Cruz rapped two run-producing hits, while Mark Ellis and Hanley Ramirez added RBI as Los Angeles forged a first-place tie with San Francisco atop the National League West. The Dodgers outscored the Giants 19-3 in the series, including two straight shutouts. San Francisco starter Ryan Vogelsong (8-5) was tagged with the loss, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits over six full innings.
