Matt McBride had a three-run homer Tuesday to lead a 15-hit Colorado attack that doomed the Chicago Cubs 10-5 in a rain-shortened contest at Coors Field. The game was called after seven innings, giving the Rockies their second consecutive win after dropping nine in a row. Josh Rutledge and Tyler Colvin both had two RBI for the Rockies and Wilin Rosario smacked a solo home run. Carlos Torres (5-3) was credited with the win for his two innings in relief of Jorge De La Rosa. Chris Rusin (1-3) took the loss after allowing six runs on seven hits in 3 2/3 innings. Dave Sappelt hit his first career home run for the Cubs in the first inning. Chicago held a 3-0 after one inning but Colorado roared back with at least one run in the next five innings before the game was called after a 48-minute delay.
