A home run in the 15th inning by Adam Jones Wednesday gave the Baltimore Orioles a 4-3 victory over Kansas City. Baltimore forced extra innings by scoring twice in the ninth and finally produced the winning run when Jones hit a 2-2 pitch from Nathan Adcock out to right with one away. Adcock (0-1) worked five innings before suffering the hard-luck loss. Kansas City took a 3-1 lead into the ninth but Jonathan Broxton let the lead get away. He gave up a one-out homer to Wilson Betemit and then allowed singles by Chris Davis and Xavier Avery. J.J. Hardy drove in the tying run with a two-out single to center. Baltimore won for the fourth time in six games. The win went to Kevin Gregg (1-1), who worked the 14th inning. Jim Johnson allowed a two-out single in the 15th before collecting his 13th save.
