Outland Trophy winner Barrett Jones said Friday he will return to Alabama for his senior season because he was \"in no hurry to get to the NFL.\" Jones, an offensive lineman who is listed at 6-5, 311 pounds, made the announcement after practice Friday. Alabama will take on LSU Jan. 9 in New Orleans for the national championship. Jones received the Outland Trophy -- as the nation\'s top interior lineman -- three weeks ago. \"I sat down with my family and made a list of pros and cons and decided I love college,\" Jones said. \"I love being at Alabama and I love putting on the crimson jersey. I have a great group of friends and I am in no hurry to get to the NFL. I do want to play in the NFL one day, but I am not in any rush.\" Jones has helped clear running lanes for Heisman Trophy finalist Trent Richardson, who has gained 1,583 yards and scored 20 touchdowns this season.
