After bowling India out for 503, Australia ended Day 3 at 74/2 in 32 overs trailing by 192 runs in their second innings in the second Test against India in Hyderabad.Ed Cowan (26*) and Shane Watson (9*) were at the crease when the stumps were drawn.Earlier, after a decent opening stand of 56 runs, R Ashwin struck twice to dismiss David Warner and Phillip Hughes in quick succession.Ashwin got the first breakthrough when he dismissed Warner (26), who in his attempt to sweep an outside leg delivery, missed the ball completely and was bowled.Hughes (0) was next to be dismissed when he was bowled in almost similar fashion leaving the Aussies two down in the final session of the day.Earlier in the day, the duo of Warner and Cowan wasted no time in putting up a swift partnership for the opening wicket right after India took a huge 266-run first innings lead courtesy Cheteshwar Pujara’s second double hundred.Despite failure of the other middle-order batsmen, India scored a commendable 503 in their first innings and the tea break was taken after the fall of last wicket.Pujara added a whopping 370 runs for the second-wicket with Vijay before the latter was dismissed for a well-made 167. source : Gulftoday
