Los Angeles Angels fans gave Albert Pujols a rapturous welcome on Saturday as the slugger arrived in Southern California after signing a 10-year, $254 million contract.Fans screamed and cheered “We got Albert” as Pujols donned a red Angels cap and his new No. 5 Angels jersey.Left-handed pitcher CJ Wilson, signed on the same day as Pujols, was also introduced to his new fans at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, south of Los Angeles. “It was really emotional,” Pujols said of his decision to leave the St. Louis Cardinals, where he had spent his entire 11-year career.“But when you feel there’s somebody out there that wants you really bad and was doing everything he could to bring you to the ballclub, it’s pretty special.”
