Egyptian Ramy Ashour will be looking to join fellow countryman Amr Shabana in the British Grand Prix semi final when he plays Frenchman Gregory Gaultier on Friday night.Four-time world champion Shabana booked a last-four spot after beating Englishman Adrian Grant 3-0 on Thursday. He will face Nick Matthew of England in the semis.Ashour is seeking to win the trophy to bridge the 50-point gap with world number one Matthew.The Grand Prix semi final would feature three Egyptians if Ashour managed to overcome Gaultier (world number 6). If Ashour beat the Frenchman, he will set up a semi-final match with either Karim Darwish or Omar Mosaad.Darwish (world number 3) and Mosaad, who are both Egyptians, meet in the remaining quarter final game on Friday.
