The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) organized the 2014 Challenge Day at AbuBaker Al Siqqiq Independent Preparatory School on Thursday.The QOC invited several governmental institutions to participate in the World Challenge Day including the Qatar Diabetes Association, the Qatar Cancer Society,the ministry of Interior and the ministry of endowments.The event is a fun day that creates awareness and enthusiasm for fitness and active living in the participating communities.In a post-event press release on Thursday, Mr. Waleed Al Khenji, Head of QOC SportsActivities Unit extended his appreciation to all the participating organizations andstressed that the QOC is keen to organize this event to create awareness on thebenefits of physical activities .
