The Qatari U22 Football team downed Maldives 2-0 in the AFC U-22 Championship 2013 qualifications on Saturday. Qatar has been pitted in Group C which also features Bahrain, Iran, Tajikistan, Kuwait and Maldives as the matches will be played in Maleka, Malaysia. Saleh Badr and Abdulkareem Hassan scored for Qatar in 80th and 85th minutes. (QNA)
