Khalid bin Hamad Endurance Championship

The Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) continues their preparations to organise the Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Endurance Race Championship, scheduled to take place next Saturday at the Bahrain International Endurance village.
Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa stressed the need of outstanding preparations for the event in all aspects.
Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad stressed that this race will be exceptional and is expected to witness excitement, enthusiasm and strength throughout the competition. It will be tightly contested among all local stables and riders participating in the race, and everyone has already begun their preparations early in order to fight for advanced positions.
He expects the race to witness a strong competition among all stables, pointing out that the wide participations will certainly contribute to the success of the tournament. He praised the big efforts of the event organizers.
BREEF Endurance Races Committee Chairman Shaikh Daej bin Salman Al Khalifa emphasized that all BREEF committees are keeping a quick pace in the final organisational touches.
He said that the continuing directives of Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad and the support of BREEF President Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, along with the rest of committee members' efforts, have contributed to increasing the beat of preparations for the event.
He expects to witness a wide participation of stables and riders from inside and outside of Bahrain.
Bahrain Royal Endurance Team Director Dr. Khalid Ahmed Hassan explained that the race comes in light of the big success of the endurance season. He said that the large field of local stables participating in the race accentuates Bahrain's riders' resolve to take part in major competitions and to achieve leading places. He added that the high competition urges them to prepare their horses properly for the contest and the rest of the endurance season, which they expect it to be strong and challenging.
