The Moroccan football team (A) moved nine spots in the world rankings of the International Federation of Football (FIFA) in February and jumped to the 48th place.
With 660 additional points, the team now ranks 10th in the African rankings behind Egypt, Senegal, Cameroon, Tunisia, DR Congo, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire.
The top ranking of the national team was the 10th place in the world rankings in April 1998.
