Two candidates shall be elected by around 100 members currently in London. In contrast, Nawal Al-Mutawakil rests assured and British Greg Ride too of winning the post of deputy president because they are the sole two candidates competing for the position. The International Olympics Committee (IOC) President – the Belgian Jack Rogue – is expected to quit his position by September 2013. These replacements in the Executive Committee (8 out of 14) come because some of the members have either reached 70 years of age or their term comes to an end in the IOC (8 years).
